Myths of Innovation

The Myths of Innovation is now out in paperback – Its gotten fantastic reviews for being fun, provocative and a great read. You have to check it out - http://bit.ly/mythspb You can also read some chapters for free: http://bit.ly/myths-sample.

I read the original hardback, and wow, does it make you think. It also gives you a new appreciation for the innovation process, which is hardly ever instantaneous. Order your copy today at amazon.com, and while you're waiting, check out the author's blog at scottberkun.com.

Editors, please do your job!

I can't tell you how many times I read a news article and find a typo or a word used out of context. It makes me wonder about the education level of the reporter as well as the editor; who should catch these mistakes anyway? I'm not claiming to have the best grammar or spelling (actually, I do spell well above average, my grammar can always use some work though), but these are basic things that shouldn't even make it to the page, let alone to the finished article. In a society where "text speak" is becoming more acceptable every day, what are we teaching the younger generation by saying it's ok to let these things slide? Does this bother others as much as it bothers me, or am I being stodgy?

Tisha's First Blog

Hello world! My name is Tisha and I have lots of random thoughts that fill my head, so I decided this would be a good place to put them. You can find anything on the web, why not put my thoughts, rants, and whatever else I think of out there? I will be writing about any number of things; pet peeves, what if's, why not's, that type of thing. Hopefully I manage to entertain you for a moment, and if not, I welcome comments on why not.

Sit back and I hope you enjoy the ride!
